Information collected when you visit

When you visit our site, we collect non-personal, non-identifiable information such as IP address, browser information, referring sites and browsing patterns, as recorded in our web server logs. This information is collected for functional, security and analytical purposes to help us evaluate and improve our business performance.

We do not currently use cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics on this site. To save you re-typing, the details you enter in a form are kept in your own browser’s local storage; they stay on your device, are not sent to us until you submit a form, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Information you send us

The site has two forms: a brochure request form and a contact form. Both are optional. When you submit one, we receive what you enter: name, email address, organization, title or rank, country, phone number (if given), visitor type, area of interest and your message or comments. For brochure requests we also record the brochure and language you chose and your confirmation that we may contact you.

To help us respond appropriately and protect the forms from abuse, each submission also includes the page you submitted from, the date and time, your time zone and browser language, the referring page, your browser and device type, and your IP address.

How we use it

Form submissions are emailed to the office of our Chief Executive Officer and handled in confidence by HMK staff. We use them to answer your inquiry, follow up on the brochure you requested, keep a record of your request and consent, protect the site against spam and abuse, and meet our legal obligations, which for a licensed U.S. defense contractor may include confirming that we can lawfully provide requested information to you and your organization. We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers.

Submissions pass through our web host and email provider, and may be relayed by a form-delivery service acting on our instructions. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser requests those files from Google when a page loads. Links to LinkedIn, hmkcap.com and other external sites are governed by those sites’ own policies.

Retention, security and your rights

HMK is based in the United States and your information is processed there. We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and as required for our business and legal records. The site is served over HTTPS and access to submitted information is limited to HMK personnel who need it. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to withdraw a consent you have given; to do so, send us a message using the link below.

Changes to this policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
